Tapping EFT

At first, I was not not sure if I should believe in EFT. Possessing a medical background, it is not a surprise that I wouldn’t support this non-medical healing process to alleviate people’s woes and worries.

Yet when I took a chance and watched the recorded videos that Tapping EFT had published or shown, I have come to terms with the possibility that this could provide huge benefits on to people suffering from negative emotional states.

Still, with all the tapping of the hand and eyes and the rest of the tapping points, doing it feels quite awkward. In due time though, maybe I’d come to realize its great benefits.

To be perfectly honest, it’s my first time actually to have been introduced in this technique. It’s not to say that I am not giving much consideration on to certain techniques that does do not belong in the medical field. It’s just that I simply haven’t come across this method in the past 

.

On this day though, I have gained enough knowledge to say that this technique is truly beneficial. YouTube EFT is what made the learning process easier for me. That, and my belief in the power of the mind made me realize and believe that the EFT helps. And EFT techniques actually involves that – the mind or the ability to do positive mind-setting.

We could employ mind-setting by putting in our thoughts the many positive aspects in our lives or putting into your thoughts that you are fortunate and appreciative for all the blessings that come your way, that there are many gratifying aspects in our lives that we should be thankful for.

I believe EFT teaches us this line of thinking or mind-setting. And I’m glad to be a part of this. Should I need more lessons and preparation for this technique to be inculcated in me, I will have no hesitations in pursuing that step because that would entail allow me to , aid in the improvement of the lives of those people with anxiety problems and the like.

Learning more about this would mean helping more people successfully struggle with their unhappy and unsatisfactory lives. Enlisting in the Tapping World Summit could also be one tool for me to gain more knowledge in employing this technique in my everyday life. .

EFT could really be a powerful tool to enhance our otherwise grumpy state of emotions to feeling joyous and gratified by relieving our emotional stress. In which positive state, we would feel more unselfish and caring.

Free from emotional baggage, it is not a hopeless case for us to be more sharing and loving. A positive US could happen with the help of EFT. And with a more positive US, a better life or a better world is not an impossibility. And EFT could make that big difference .

Do you ever feel like an obstinate two-year old

Stubbornly refusing to do what you know you should do?

Do you avoid doing certain things?  Wasting all kinds of energy for days, dreading something you will eventually do?

Here’s a solution.  It has helped me immensely and no doubt it will work for you as well.

It is called Emotional Freedom Tapping, also known as EFT tapping.
The technique uses the mind body connection.  You think thoughts and feel emotions about something that’s bothering you.

Simultaneously, you use your fingertips to tap certain points.  The points you tap are on the energy meridians, the same meridians acupuncturists use.

It sounds and looks totally weird.  But I suggest you give it a good try, because it actually works

Employ this tapping therapy for absolutely any disturbing emotion.

But it’s amazing when you use it for procrastination.

Here’s the EFT technique I like to use.  It’s easy to do and is a quick way to learn EFT and get started using it.

Using a few fingertips of your right or left hand to tap gently, on either side of your body.  Tap a few times on every point.

You’ll learn the tapping points by watching the very quick video.

Here’s what you do next.  Think of the thing you are avoiding doing.

Tap on the points while you say the following statements.

Eyebrow: I don’t want to do it!

Side of Eye: I’m dreading doing it.

Under Eye: Just thinking of it makes me hate it.

Under Nose: I will not do it.

Chin: I simply refuse.

Collarbone: You can’t make me do it.

Under Arm: You can’t make me and I don’t have to do it.

Top of Head: I am not doing it and that’s all there is to it.

If you haven’t tried it yet, I bet you’re still thinking it’s silly.  Well, give it a try!

Tap the points while saying those same words on each point (one round is tapping on each of the points) or several rounds.

Then, notice how you’re feeling about the thing you were avoiding.  You may be surprised at how your avoidance and procrastination changes.

What can it hurt to try it?

We all get in bad moods from time to time.  If you’re a human, living life, it’s unavoidable.

However, because being in a lousy mood can obscure the good feelings that are possible, even from being productive and feeling joy, it’s valuable to have some tricks to get out of feeling bad.

The following are six ways I use all the time to turn my mood around.

One:  Smile
Smiling interrupts bad mood neural pathways. It also helps the brain stay in a positive state more often.

Smiling alone makes you feel better.  And, when your smile is aimed at another, you’ve just spread the contagion of smiling and feeling happy.

#2 Yawn
Yawning is an amazing tool due to the fact that it triggers some very beneficial results.  It reduces stress, causes physical relaxation and increases sensuality and pleasure. 

Just open your mouth wide and induce a yawn.  Try it now!

Three:  Say Yes!
Simply saying the word “yes” can help you get into a more positive frame of mind. 

Using your fingers to count, ask ten questions of yourself and answer “yes”.  Start easy, for example, Am I asking myself a question?  Answer “yes”

As you continue asking, get more and more enthusiastic, asking questions that make you happier and happier.

#4 Appreciation
Begin by looking around wherever you are find something you appreciate. Silently think of a reason you appreciate it.  Next think of another reason you appreciate it.  And another, and another.

Then move on to another object.  This is something you can do while waiting, driving – any time.

#5 Tapping
Your body’s system of energy can get stuck both in patterns of thought and in patterns of emotion.

When you tap on some specific points, the ones used in Chinese acupuncture, clears and releases the blocked energy and turn a bad mood into a good one.

#6 If I did feel happy…
When you’re feeling really low, it can be hard to simply decide to feel better.  Try this.

This works aloud, by writing or silently.  Begin by saying, If I felt happy right now, I could possibly feel happy about”  then finish with something you would feel good about.

Keep going, completing your sentence with things you could feel good about. 

Before you know it, you’ll find yourself feeling better and better.

Have you heard of EFT Tapping – Emotional Freedom Tapping?  Is it something you know how to do?

My purpose here is to, tell you what Emotional Tapping is and describe the basic method.

For starters, EFT was invented by Gary Craig, Emotional Freedom Technique founder.  What you do is tap with your fingertips, on points on your body’s energy system on your head, face and your torso. While tapping, you tune in to an emotional issue..

Your thoughts and feelings about the event shift.  Here is an example of this tapping technique.

Let’s say you have a disturbing memory from your childhood. You got in trouble for something you did.  Remember the bad feelings of feeling ashamed?

Over the course of your life, you’ve continually believed something was wrong with you, even though you may not be consciously aware of that belief.
Here is the way you’d use EFT therapy to clear the disturbing emotions and beliefs you still hold from that event.

You tune into the memory of the event while tapping on various energy meridian points on your head, face and torso.  There are eight tapping points that are commonly used by an EFT practitioner.

So, focusing on the event, and tuning into your feelings about it, you use your fingers to tap on the EFT points.  You can also put your focus on the belief that was formed during the event. – that you are defective or that something’s wrong with you.

What happens, is that after tapping the points and tuning into the event, your reaction to the memory alters.  You can go from feeling ashamed to feeling peaceful.  The emotions you feel can change from resentment, upset, frustrated, overwhelmed – to a state of calm and understanding.  It is typical to start out feeling insecure and end up feeling confident.
