Today, I will use my magic wand and allow you a free pass to letting go of anxiety, impatient nature, frustration, and aggravation.
Simply allow it to leave. When you let go, you are releasing resistance. When you let go of resistance, you are in the allowing mode. The creating mindset is just moving the resistance out of the way so that you can be an open vessel for your desire to come to you. If you say you desire a husband who is good-looking, loves you, is financially independent, and has great relationships with his parents and ex-wife (if there is one), and that lights you up feel elated – however, the next thought that goes through your mind is, “Oh sure, look at my debt. What person desires to take me on with that. I should take care of that first.” Now you’re running in the other direction from what you really desire. You’re back in resistance. A lot of the time resistant energy is hard to realize because of how we are used to functioning. I asked one client why she wanted to create more money. She answered “I desire to create more money because I like how it feels to be able to get the things I want and I hate asking my husband for money.” Start attracting the love relationship you have always desired with a Relationship Coach.
Did you see what happened there? In the very same sentence, she cancelled out what she wanted by allowing more of what she did not desire. “I want this simply because I do not desire that.” This is not an effective way to create what you want, people. My question to you is: what are your tightly held beliefs about what is possible for you? Are you totally loveable and deserving? Do you think you’re worthy of wealth and vitality? You should want to get really clear what’s in your energy. Your words can occasionally hide your true feelings and beliefs. Once you get clear about what’s blocking your path, what those resisting thoughts, counter intentions or habitual ways of thinking are, then you can ask and be in alignment with your wants, then it will be created. The only thing you need to do is ask. Voice your desire, that is, you have to ask without all resistant energy that get in the way to undo what it is you’re asking for. For example: I desire a love with a person who is amazing, funny, adorable, and intelligent. You understand how great it will be to be loved by a guy like that, then, if there’s no other counter-intentions in the way, your romance will soon be yours.
Jesus said: Ask as if you have already received and it will be delivered.
Ask – Believe – Receive. The believing aspect is the part where you align your vibrational energy, and that is where most of us need help tweaking their vibration. The phrase Law of Attraction, although used widely by New Thought authors, has a variety of meanings. Turn-of-the-20th-century references conceptualized the law of attraction as relating to physical structure and to how matter develops. A more modern consensus among New Thought thinkers is that the Law of Attraction says people’s thoughts (both conscious and unconscious) dictate the reality of their lives, whether or not they’re aware of it. Essentially “if you really want something and truly believe it’s possible, you’ll get it”, but putting a lot of attention and thought onto something you don’t want means you’ll probably get that too.
Widespread popular interest for the law of attraction reached its peak after the release of the The Secret, a 2006 cinematic release. After the film’s release, the book Law of Attraction: The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham by Esther Hicks and Jerry Hicks made the New York Times Best Sellers list, drawing more attention and interest to this topic. Prior to this, the couple had been in the New Age field since the 1980s.
In 2007, the writer of the bestselling book, The Secret, Rhonda Byrne had become so popular that she was interviewed on Oprah Winfrey. By the time Byrne went on Oprah the book had already gotten its break on the Ellen DeGeneres show and was “hugely successful”. Oprah aired the first of two segments on February 8, 2007.
Since many of the claims of the law of attraction appear impossible without violating established scientific principles and our understanding of the universe, it has received criticism from the scientific community. Physicist Ali Alousi, for instance, criticized it as unmeasurable (and therefore unscientific) as well as questioning the likelihood that thoughts can affect anything outside the head. The Associated Press is also quoted as saying that “some medical professionals suggest it could even lead to a blame-the-victim mentality and actually be dangerous to those suffering from serious illness or mental disorders”.
Skeptical Inquirer magazine criticized the lack of falsifiability and testability of the claims . The evidence provided is usually anecdotal and because of the self-selecting nature of the positive reports, as well as the subjective nature of any results, highly susceptible to confirmation bias and selection bias. References to modern scientific theory are questionable. Brainwaves have an electrical signal, and any magnetic field produced by the brain is actually negligible. Not to mention the required shielding of a room against outside magnetic sources, to enable the minuscule magnetic field of the brain to be isolated and detected by very sensitive equipment. So, “the brain’s magnetic field of 10 -15 tesla speedily dissipates from the skull and is promptly swamped by other magnetic sources, not to mention the earth’s magnetic field of 10 -5 tesla, which overpowers it by 10 orders of magnitude”
The use of the term “metaphysical law” has also come under fire (of the term and)
Both Dr. Victor Stenger (PhD. Physics, UCLA 1963) and Dr.Leon Lederman (PhD. Physics Columbia Univ.) are critical of references to quantum physics to bridge any unexplained or seemingly implausible effects, which are hallmark traits of modern pseudoscience.
Writing in the New York Times, Virginia Heffernan said: ““The Secret” is not really a book but a series of misquotations from historical figures and fraudulent maxims from no-count hucksters. And yet something inside that gooey red waxy seal on the front of “The Secret,” and the book’s believe-in-magic glitter, takes me to a happy place.” The hitherto undiscovered “Secret”, is actually a mix of misunderstood quantum physics and a re-telling of “New Thought” fallacies, which have been around since the late 18th century.
The principles of mindmovies have also been interpreted in the realm of medicine and illness. In 1990, Bernie Siegel (a retired assistant clinical professor of surgery at Yale) published a popular book, Love, Medicine and Miracles, which claimed that the threat of disease was related to a person’s imagination, will, and belief. Siegel advocated “love” as the primary source of healing and longevity stating that “if you want to be immortal, love someone.” Some argue that this claim is falsified by the eventual death of every known human, despite the propensity of so many to love each other. As yet, no immortal loving people have been discovered. Siegel’s description has been largely rejected by the medical community. The most notable critic is neuroendocrinologist and Stanford professor Robert Sapolsky, who devoted a whole chapter in his book Why Zebras Don’t Get Ulcers to critiquing Siegel. Sapolsky refers to Siegel’s general idea as “benign gibberish” but is strongly critical of what he sees as blaming patients for their illness, based only on questionable anecdotal evidence. Sapolsky sums up his primary criticism as follows:
Have you ever focussed your entire life around the achievement of one goal? Did you ever arrange your life to meet the needs of achievment in just one small area of your life? Have you ever felt the burning desire to maximise your talents which has led you to focus on one unerring goal?
You may not have as yet achieved all that you may have desired in life should the answer to this question be ‘no’. You may be going through life by being led more by circumstance than by actually controlling your own destination and outcome.
Really consider your life now. Consider now who is in the driving seat of your life, you or life? What choices have you made in the recent past that are really steering the course of your life?
It is very easy to be distracted by the material world we live in, to be dictated to by earthly desires: money, cars, careers, television, fashion and ultimately society at large. Although there is nothing bad about those things however it may be that you are merely living up to the expectations of people around you and society as opposed to really fulfilling your own desires.
Think of all of your own unique desires, are you really going after them. The things that you are talented at and passionate about. We all have our own unique talents and desires. If we can identify what these things are and then let them flow through our lives unhindered then imagine how much more happy and successful you would be.
Learn to nurture one definite goal that you wish to achieve and focus on that one desire. Do not be as the majority of people are and merely wish to have many things but then lack both the desire and the purpose to accomplish any of them and therefore almost garauntee themselves more of the same ‘lack of fulfillment’.
Simply make some effort and discover how to really concentrate and focus on just one personal goal will solve this issue. Now don’t worry about working out ‘how to concentrate’. Concentration is a very real tool that you have to put to work for you. Have you ever concentrated so completely on a particular sports game that you weren’t aware of the things around you? If you have you may recall just how completely dominated your thoughts were by those of the match, to the detriment of everything else. It is this same positive thinking approach that will allow you to focus and concentrate on your own chosen desire and to make it real in your life.
Here is my challenge to you: decide upon one particular target for yourself that comes from within and deliberately focus all of your effort towards the accomplishment of this. Now see how much more you will achieve by concentrating on one single goal rather than spreading your efforts around. Robert Collier sums this point up best:
“The time you put in aimlessly dreaming and wishing would accomplish marvels if it were concentrated on one definite object”
A further natural testimony to this is the suns rays. If they are scattered around then they can achieve little however if they remain focussed like sun shining through a magnifying class then they can accomplish so much more.
In short you need to find that one intense desire that you are willing to sacrifice all else for, that one thing that pulls you deep inside, that one thing that will inspire yourself and others to great achievements. Concentrate and subsequently really focus on that single target until it has been successfully completed. Once you have mastered this process you really can say that you are the master of your fate and the captain of your soul! How incredible will that day feel. Verbal self-affirmations and visualization are two autogenic conditioning methods that help you train the mind’s eye. The results from these methods is that your subconscious will be locked and programmed to attract whatever goal you give it.

Second, you will begin to get all kinds of creative ideas, hunches, inspiration and insight drawn to your consciousness aiding you in goal achievement once you program your subconscious mind with your desires. Your actions will become automatically aligned causing your manifestations to arrive faster.
Third your superconscious mind will become activated. When this happens, favorable circumstances outside your direct physical control seem to miraculously occur. Gifts from the Heavens become bestowed on you. Your conscious, subconscious, and superconscious begin to work in harmony to achieve your goals. This is exactly the mind set you want to be in.
You can wish to be a billionaire, but how do you visualize a billion dollars? Money is only an idea and does not exist as a thing unto itself. Having money and nothing else is exactly the same as having no money with nothing else. There is no difference to be seen at all. You can have exactly the same amount of money today as yesterday but if you were to wear much sharper looking clothes, all of a sudden it seems that your life has become richer. You need to visualize external changes expressing wealth.
Right now, as we speak, we are creating our reality, our future is being formed and materialized so we can experience it tomorrow. This is a Non-stop Cycle and an Immutable one. While much has been written about goals little has been drafted about the courage required to set goals in the first place.
It doesn’t take much digging to see many people are living with fear, frustration and doubt. Who among us can say we haven’t had a restless night worrying about what disaster could befall us the next day?
The more I read about the science of thought (“The Field” by Lynne McTaggart for example) the more I’m convinced thoughts are things. Our thoughts can serve up dark images of despair or they can paint pictures of joy, laughter and deep abiding happiness.
It is our thinking, rather than our surroundings, that determines our level of happiness. Hold a thought and you will create an emotion. That emotion drives a behavior which in turn creates an event.To change your events you must first change your thoughts.
For those of us who have spent any time reading Self Improvement literature ‘positive thinking’ is not a new idea.In fact it’s pretty tempting to read the ‘thoughts are things’ message and dismiss it as a cliche?.
The challenge, for the majority of us, is to leave well worn path of pessimistic thinking to a place where your thoughts create feelings of happiness and joy. So how do you do it?
First know that your thoughts and emotions don’t need to rule your life. They can in fact be harnessed to further your goals. The more you practice becoming conscious of your thoughts and emotions, the greater your ability to shape and control them. Thus encouraging only those thoughts that produce empowering emotions.
Think about the person you want to become. Picture that person going through their normal day. What are they wearing? Where are they going? How do they get there? Who do they spend time with and what kind of conversations do they have with others? What kind of contribution is this person, this “future you”, making? Get clear on these images.
Now imagine how this person feels. What emotions do they carry with them? When you look at them at their very best, what words come to mind?
What kind of thoughts go through their mind? What thoughts would this person simply not give energy to? Need some help defining some of the positive beliefs and thoughts your future self will carry? Once you’ve got clarity on your future thinking, take a moment and write the thoughts down. Capture both the positive thoughts your future self will carry and the negative thoughts you have today that your future self will discount.
You’ve just taken a significant step forward.What you have just done (or maybe you are just about to do) lays the foundation on which all your other work will stand. So what’s next?

Know that we attract to us that on which our thoughts dwell. If our thoughts are about things we don’t want we will attract those things to us; if our thoughts are about those things we do want, we will attract those things to us just as easily. So, think about what you want!
Post your Positive Thoughts List in a place where you’ll be able to read them every day. As for your Negative Thoughts List, print that out too. Hold the Negative Thoughts List in front of you.Now vow to yourself to leave no place in your mind for these thoughts any longer.
The thoughts may pass through your mind again but they will not be allowed to stay. Ideally, say this to yourself in the mirror as if you were making a solemn promise to your best friend. Now take that Negative Thoughts List and destroy it. What do I mean by destroy it? Crumple it up, cut it up, shred it or burn it over the sink.

So you have got some clarity on your future self. You’ve defined the thoughts your future self will carry and those they will leave behind.
The next step is to apply all of this and change your day to day thinking….I know this is easier said then done.
Here’s the good news, if you can catch yourself holding a negative thought early enough you can usually stop it from turning into an emotional reaction. So how do you lift yourself out of negative thinking patterns? Try out the Rubber Band technique.
Get a rubber band that fits snuggly on your wrist. Each time you find yourself holding onto a thought that doesn’t serve you, snap the rubber band.And not just a tiny wimpy snap. You’re looking for a big, ‘SNAP!’. The kind of snap that makes you wince. This is where the normal Rubber Band technique ends.
The StepOne version of the exercise takes it…well…a step further (forgive the pun). As soon as you’ve stopped reeling from the wicked snapping you’ve put on yourself repeat the positive thought you want to carry instead.If you can say it three times out loud (ideally you’re not with friends when all this is happening as you’ll get some strange looks) then you’re hitting the sweet spot of mental reprogramming.
For example let’s say you are working hard to reach and then maintain a certain weight.You have identified a negative thought you often repeat that goes something like ‘Just eat whatever youlike, you’ll never lose the weight anyways’. After giving yourself a proper snapping you quickly say ‘I only eat food that strengthens and replenishes my body’. You repeat this three times.
You’ll find that in no time you will change your thinking around reaching a given goal.
Do Not forget that it’s actually possible to benefit by using vision boards to get everything need to live a great life. Live Courageously!
It is said that we, human beings, are the most developed species that have trodden the face of the Earth. And yet we need assistance for self-development. Why? Isn’t it funny?
Well, the reason is that nothing in this Universe, other than nature, is full and complete in every respect. The result was, on one hand, the innumerable discoveries and inventions that continue to provide us with outer comfort. However, humankind has remained dissatisfied, reflected by their perpetual struggle for inner comfort.

Ideas and ideologies have been poured into the consciousness of human knowledge through eons of careful thought. So, you heard of the law of attraction - of course you have, it is everywhere! Its likely that you were skeptical at first, but curiosity got you interested and you ended up investigating further - a little more in depth . This is the typical “law of attraction cycle” of people go through, and this is no different to any other self improvement type product. 90% of the people who go to a motivational speech will not take action from it, they will just go back to the same patterns of behavior that they are familiar with. Over 95% of people who buy any personal development book will never finish it, and only aprox 2% will ever take any physical action as recommended in the text.
It's not that these methods don’t work. The problem is that people give up too quickly or don’t put in enough effort to even get decent results and this causes them to lose interest and seek something that "works better". When these people are giving up it could well be that the results are just under the surface for them - just about to overflow into reality. But they stop thinking positively and then whatever was building “under the surface” slowly goes away and they label the Law of Attraction as all hype and no result.
It’s all well saying the only requirement for success is Consistency - staying committed and keeping a focus without giving up - always working towards your attraction goals no matter what happens. But really you need to live the law of attraction - it shouldn't be just something you think about occasionally when you wake up. It needs to be a major part of your life. You should immerse yourself and try as many different methods as possible in order to get the result you want. This is because what works for one person might be different for the next. With complete focus and dedication as well as consistency you will be well on your way to success.
