Change your daily vocabulary: Replace phrases in your daily vocabulary such as “Impossible”, “I can’t do it” with more positive phrases such as “I can, if I put in the necessary time and effort” or “I can, if that is my current priority in life” or “I can figure it out”. Such phrases, while acknowledging the task requires effort, still do not verbally diminish your capacity to do it should the need arise in future

Guess what, it’s possible and let me tell you why I know this. I set out a goal five years ago to have one original thought per day. At first I tried so hard, but couldn’t do it, but I was able to have one or two per week. Then as I kept trying eventually I had one per day. Then I realize some days I had two and I would save one for the next day’s quota, that’s when they started to stack up and I noticed I was having 2 to 3 original thoughts every single day of my life. It is my belief that anybody can do this.

How can you rediscover your creativity? You can go for a walk and open your eyes and ears to all that surrounds you. Look at the houses-what style are they, do they have gardens? Is the wind blowing? What else do you see? You are already opening yourself up to experiencing newness in your life. You have to cultivate your senses. Most of us have busy demanding lives and it is easy to stop seeing what is around us. How about taking a different walk? Go down a street you normally don’t travel. What do you see?

When you do and if you will do this, what you will find is that each original thought leads to another original thought, and you can take these thoughts and creative innovations and sprinkle them around various industries with new applications for each one. Of course, you are going to have to also work on your creative concept capture strategies for your ideas and innovations and that means writing them down. Please consider all this

Sexual addiction, like any other addiction involves defense mechanisms that allow the desired behavior to persist despite negative consequences. The sex addiction attributes the problems associated with his/her sexual behavior to anything but the sexual behavior. Since sexual addiction co-occurs with other addictions, the other addictions often get blamed for unintended behavior or consequences. And the combination of addictions and/or their patterns of interactions can prompt unintended behavior or consequences.

3. Eat a real breakfast. This is called break-fast for a reason. You are breaking the fast your body has been experiencing while you slept.. You will be surprised what a difference it will make when you try cereal and milk with fruit, or try a simple sandwich of toast and egg with breakfast meat.

  • Trust your instincts. There is nothing wrong with deciding you truly want something if it has value for you and you want to give it space in your life. There is also nothing wrong if you can’t imagine yourself using something that others find valuable. What do you gain by keeping something you don’t want or won’t use? What could you gain by letting it go?

Many people believe that somewhere in the past were the good ‘ol days and that the old way of doing things is best. Clinging to this belief puts you at a disadvantage for three reasons.

1. The old way solved a problem we no longer have.

There’s a story about a new bride who was cooking her first dinner for her mother. Since her mother arrived early she was observing her daughter as she cooked.

She noticed that her daughter cut a roast in half and placed each half in its own pot on the stove to cook.

It’s these people I’m talking about when I mention, “Saying You’re Sorry without Action”. I can think of a couple of people in my life that use the word sorry as a poor excuse for their daily activities that seemed to create a repetitive lifestyle of problems.

To me the word sorry becomes meaningless, it used too much by the same person. When this becomes a problem with me, I often make a suggestion to the other person, to quit using the word sorry and start showing me some effort, by changing their life. Changing the way they do things would eliminate the need to say you’re sorry, constantly.

3. The old way has been replaced with a more efficient and safer version.

When I was preparing to travel to China the teller at my credit union advised me that merchants around the world preferred their own currency to traveler’s checks.

So, armed only with my debit card and credit cards, I went on my trip. Just as the teller suggested, I got cash from the hotel’s ATM machine and was well prepared for day trips and shopping.

Think about it, the next time you say you’re sorry to someone. Are you sincerely sorry or is it like flushing the toilet, something you do as a response to something that has came out a you. Be a little more careful with what words you use on a daily basis

juegos I’ve taken some time this month to clean out my Gmail, the main goal being to have a completely empty Inbox. I went through each email one by one, adding it to my Gmail Task List and/or archiving it away, until I got to the very last entry. It was labeled “journal” & dated 12/14/06. I knew it was there for me to print & tape into my actual journal (which I never write in unless things are bad/sad/confusing & I need some clarity), but I don’t think I’ve looked at it in all these 31(!) months.

Or do I just throw in the towel, keep on plugging away at my day job for a paycheck and the lifestyle I want to lead? Or do I go back to school to try to find something else that I can be passionate about?

I’ve been trying to unjumble my head for over a year with all this, and while I want to make both things work – be able to go on auditions and do extra work while I also have my “day job” — the more I try the more tired I feel. So what’s the compromise?
I feel like I’m a Practical Dreamer.”

Obviously, this movie is in Ideal World and we never know how Allison actually, um, puts a roof over her head & adorable vintage clothes on her person. But just think about adding a pinch of hobby A and a dash of goal B and a swirl of passion C, and making that into your life. Think of what you love to do, and a need that’s out there, & make your own sandwich. Allison took everyone’s goal of “getting more exercise” & paired it with her passion of photography, & created a running photography class. She has her nights free for singing & performing, just for the love of it. She might be a freakin’ garbage woman during the day, but you’d never know it from the way she lives her life — by her passions You can be published without charge. Mine would be, “I intend to feel relaxed and at ease during the holidays and enjoy the people I’m with.” If you remind yourself of your intentions from now until then, it will invite your brain to create a new more joy filled experience.

Most of us focus on the negative — what we’re worried about — and because of the Law of Attraction, usually we get more of what we don’t want. This process of identifying what we do want and creating intentions from that list gets us out of the habit of thinking about what stresses us and opens the doorway to let in a stress-free way of life You can be published without charge.
