What is EFT? Tapping is a blending of modern Psychology and the ancient art of acupuncture.
EFT is does meridian tapping while acupuncture uses needles.
The way it’s done is simple. Bring up an upsetting emotion or a disturbing thought.  You tap on the energy meridian points located on the head and torso while you are in the disturbing state.  Your fingertips are used for tapping.
How Does EFT Tapping Work? Let’s discuss acupuncture first.
Illnesses and pain are caused by an abnormal and unbalanced state of energy flow, according the theory of Chinese medicine.
In acupuncture, the needles are inserted into energy points or qi meridians of the body. In this way, the energy channels are stimulated, allowing the natural state of health to return.
It is similar to the way meridian tapping works.  The founding belief of EFT is that disturbing emotions are a disruption of the body’s energies.  Tapping on those energy points when you’re upset enables the meridian energy to resolve and balance.

Stubbornly refusing to do what you know you should do?
Do you avoid doing certain things? Wasting all kinds of energy for days, dreading something you will eventually do?
Here’s a solution. It has helped me immensely and no doubt it will work for you as well.
It is called Emotional Freedom Tapping, also known as EFT tapping. The technique uses the mind body connection. You think thoughts and feel emotions about something that’s bothering you.
Simultaneously, you use your fingertips to tap certain points. The points you tap are on the energy meridians, the same meridians acupuncturists use.
It sounds and looks totally weird. But I suggest you give it a good try, because it actually works
Employ this tapping therapy for absolutely any disturbing emotion.
But it’s amazing when you use it for procrastination.
Here’s the EFT technique I like to use. It’s easy to do and is a quick way to learn EFT and get started using it.
Using a few fingertips of your right or left hand to tap gently, on either side of your body. Tap a few times on every point.
You’ll learn the tapping points by watching the very quick video.
Here’s what you do next. Think of the thing you are avoiding doing.
Tap on the points while you say the following statements.
Eyebrow: I don’t want to do it!
Side of Eye: I’m dreading doing it.
Under Eye: Just thinking of it makes me hate it.
Under Nose: I will not do it.
Chin: I simply refuse.
Collarbone: You can’t make me do it.
Under Arm: You can’t make me and I don’t have to do it.
Top of Head: I am not doing it and that’s all there is to it.
If you haven’t tried it yet, I bet you’re still thinking it’s silly. Well, give it a try!
Tap the points while saying those same words on each point (one round is tapping on each of the points) or several rounds.
Then, notice how you’re feeling about the thing you were avoiding. You may be surprised at how your avoidance and procrastination changes.

We all get in bad moods from time to time. If you’re a human, living life, it’s unavoidable.
However, because being in a lousy mood can obscure the good feelings that are possible, even from being productive and feeling joy, it’s valuable to have some tricks to get out of feeling bad.
The following are six ways I use all the time to turn my mood around.
One:Â Smile Smiling interrupts bad mood neural pathways. It also helps the brain stay in a positive state more often.
Smiling alone makes you feel better. And, when your smile is aimed at another, you’ve just spread the contagion of smiling and feeling happy.
#2 Yawn Yawning is an amazing tool due to the fact that it triggers some very beneficial results. It reduces stress, causes physical relaxation and increases sensuality and pleasure.Â
Just open your mouth wide and induce a yawn. Try it now!
Three:Â Say Yes! Simply saying the word “yes” can help you get into a more positive frame of mind.Â
Using your fingers to count, ask ten questions of yourself and answer “yes”. Start easy, for example, Am I asking myself a question? Answer “yes”
As you continue asking, get more and more enthusiastic, asking questions that make you happier and happier.
#4 Appreciation Begin by looking around wherever you are find something you appreciate. Silently think of a reason you appreciate it. Next think of another reason you appreciate it. And another, and another.
Then move on to another object. This is something you can do while waiting, driving – any time.
#5 Tapping Your body’s system of energy can get stuck both in patterns of thought and in patterns of emotion.
When you tap on some specific points, the ones used in Chinese acupuncture, clears and releases the blocked energy and turn a bad mood into a good one.
This easy-to-learn technique is called EFT tapping. You can learn to do tapping therapy in as little as 10 minutes with this free EFT manual and you may want to watch the one-minute YouTube EFT video at the top of this page.
#6 If I did feel happy… When you’re feeling really low, it can be hard to simply decide to feel better. Try this.
This works aloud, by writing or silently. Begin by saying, If I felt happy right now, I could possibly feel happy about” then finish with something you would feel good about.
Keep going, completing your sentence with things you could feel good about.Â
Before you know it, you’ll find yourself feeling better and better.
Anxiety is a problem that puts many limitations on our lives.
Anxiety is the physical state that results from fearful thoughts and limiting beliefs about your future. When you think these fearful thoughts, your physical body undergoes many fight or flight reactions which is in preparation for escaping a danger that threatens your life.
Maintaining a state of anxiety takes a lot of physical energy.
So much energy is used up that you don’t have very much left for experiencing happiness, movement, creative expression, fun and play, love or even sex .
Solution for Anxiety
That brings me to the solution that I’ve found to work great for anxiety. I named it SALT. The letters stand for… Stop
Ask
Listen
Tap
Here is how it works.
First you Stop
When we’re feeling anxious, we do not stop. Instead of stopping, we have a tendency to try to run from the fear.
This first step is simple. Just stop what you’re doing.
Ask
Then ask yourself any of the following questions.
What is scaring me? What’s the cause of this anxiety? What are the thoughts I’m having? What thoughts are under this? What beliefs are causing this anxiety?Â
Listen to Your Answers
Now listen to what your mind answers. The answers may be surprising.
Do not discount or argue with the responses. What you hear may be immature, petty or seem silly to you. You are getting to know the nature of the human mind. And with awareness comes power.
If you write them down you’ll more easily remember them and it seems to have a calming effect. That whiney childish part wants to be heard too!
You will probably be feeling much better already. But doing the last step will help to reverse your anxiety for good and establish new healthier patterns.
Step Four:Â Tap
As the last step, you do EFT tapping. For tapping statements, you use what you heard in the Listening step. You say your answers aloud while doing tapping therapy. Say one statement at each tapping point.
Is EFT tapping foreign to you? Click here for a free EFT manual. So next time you’re feeling anxious – just add a little SALT!
I bet you’d be interested in a simple and easy way to increase your abundance.
Here’s how it works.
When you feel more abundant, your expectation of abundance will increase. When you anticipate abundance, you expect it to happen. You notice what you expect
That’s one way you increase the perception of abundance in your life
But there’s another way this works too. Our lives are – at least to some degree – created by our thoughts and emotions. So happy feelings and positive expectations, our lives are filled with good experiences
We perceive more good things in our lives and more good things happen to us
Here’s how you do it
You can do this process in one of two places. Otherwise, it’s the same process
You do this either standing at a mirror, looking directly into your eyes, or you do it lying in bed. If you do it at your mirror, you’ll talk aloud. In bed, you can do the exercise silently.Â
You begin by saying, One thing that was good about today is…” and finish the sentence with something good about your day. Next, you’ll continue by saying more about the good thing you named. Continue by saying, “And one thing I really liked about that is…” Again, finish the sentence by elaborating on the thing you started with.
After that, continue with another part of your day you appreciate. You can comment on a feeling, an event, a way you felt or acted – anything.
You can continue this process for as long as you like.Â
End this practice by saying something loving to yourself like, “I love and approve of you. Hugging yourself while you do this is wonderful.Â
Now, to increase the benefits of this, add EFT tapping. You simply tap on the Emotional Freedom Tapping points while naming the things you liked about your day and while saying you love yourself.Â
If you need information about the tapping points, pick up a free EFT manual.Â
When you begin to focus on what’s good in your life, your focus becomes more positive and get tuned into abundance more of the time . With your focus on more of what’s good in your life, you will attract more and more abundance.
