Tantric yoga has been believed to open up sexual feelings. Yoga practitioners know that tantric yoga is used for further enlightenment aside from the common knowledge. There are different philosophies behind yoga exercises and tantric yoga path points to sexual development for you and your partner’s benefits and also further spiritual enlightenment. In this article you will see the standard principles why tantric yoga involves not just sexual benefits but holistic enhancement.

There has been a common ground with all those who practice yoga that tantric yoga has a purpose of enlightenment and personal growth but these yogic masters differ in achieving this goal. There are different techniques suggested for you to achieve this enlightenment.

I will show you two methods that you can check out which will work better for your goal and yourself.

There is what we call the Kundali technique. This is the most powerful of all psychic energies. Those who have been practicing tantric yoga believe that the power of sexuality lies in the energy which we call kundali. Kundali flows through the sushumna which is a hollow conduit of our spine. The flow moves-up. When you gain success in making your energy reach your brain, you may experience heavenly illumination. But before this can be possible, you should relieve yourself of all the blockages in the path of the energy. Complete body relaxation is the key. All body tensions and mental distractions should be rid off to make this energy flow. And for partners, they should be able to make a tantric embrace to join themselves and form a union.

The other kind of tantric yoga is Maithuna which is the tantric lovemaking experience. This kind of yoga involves various meditations and rituals. Partners use tantric yoga to release forces of the Kundali energy. You have to take note that the routine is not designed to excite your sexual desires but must be the reverse of it. The opposite must be relaxing and not boring. This will lead to evolution of self.
