What’s Life Coaching?
Life Coaching is motivational, galvanizing, positive, exciting and action driven. Life training aids you in looking at where you are now and where you would like to be, so helping you bridge the gap. By raising awareness and inspiring you to take responsibility for your life, life coaching can help you rise to your own particular challenge and go further than you ever thought practical.
Therefore is this magic? Does the Life Coach just wave a magic wand and make everything excellent? Sadly no, and it has got to be said, that training involves plenty of tough work and commitment. Nevertheless if you're ready for change in your life, the benefits can be giant.
Sounds great so far, but what if you are unsure if your issues are suitable for training? The only possible way to be actually sure is to have an ad hoc chat with a life coach. However , look at the following statements and see whether they apply to you.
*I’ve had a difficulty or challenge that's been around for a long while, but I haven't ever managed to sort it out.
*I have a pressing issue to solve but do not know where to start.
*Things are OK for me but might be better.
*I seem to spend all of my life trying to catch up.
*My life seems to be all work and no play.
*I think things would be great if only I had ..a new job, I could shed pounds, I could sell my houseetc. Etc
*I would just like to run my ideas past someone who isn’t going to pour cold water over them all the time.
*I feel lonely in my job but find it hard to speak to colleagues in case they take it as an indication that I have failed.
*I’m hiding relationship issues because I can't share them with family and friends, as this would feel disloyal to my partner.
*I’m in a groove and feel too drained to get out of it.
*I’ve lost direction.
If you have identified with several of these statements, then life coaching could make the difference you’re looking for.
The Advantages of Having a Life Coach
*You get to talk about your Problems and challenges with someone who’s not going to break you, make judgements about you, criticise what you're saying, or offer opinions based on their lonesome experience.

*Life training will give you the space and time to think through your challenges and options.
*You can use your life coach as a sounding board for all of your concepts, like your BP, what to put in a display, how to have a successful interview, how to start a new past-time, your new fitness programme; the list is never-ending.
*If you have lost direction, your coach will help you to focus by setting you some very efficient exercises designed to help you identify what you'd like to have, be and do.
*If you’ve got a whinging doubt about what you're doing in your life or things do not feel right, but you don't know why, it could be that your not sticking to your values, the things that are most crucial to you, like accomplishment, dom, success, caring for others, confidence for example. Your coach will help you discover your true values, and help you to work on a plan for satisfying them.
*Everything you are saying will be in total confidence.
*Your coach will offer proposals if it is acceptable and something you would welcome.
How Does Life Coaching Work?
Coaching can be head to head or on the telefone. You may meet/ring your coach at a pre-arranged time for weekly sessions, which can last between 30 and 60 minutes.
During that time, your coach will establish an argument with you, and inspire you, with a series of questions to set a goal. With direction from your coach, you'll explore various options open to you that might permit you to take a step closer to your goal. What if talking to somebody does not appeal? Plenty of coaches now do email coaching which can be amazingly effective, giving both parties the time to think before setting their thoughts, queries and responses down in type.
Whichever methodology you select, life coaching will be a fairly challenging experience for you, requiring a high level of keenness and commitment, but well worth the effort.
