<p>- There are so many details that I don&#8217;t know where to begin.</p>
<p>- I&#8217;m afraid that I might fail.</p>
<p>- I&#8217;m not clear on what my goal is. I can&#8217;t nail it down.</p>
<p>- I have so many options that I can&#8217;t make up my mind.</p>
<p>- The goal is so big that it overwhelms me.</p>
<p>- I just don&#8217;t have the time right now.</p>
<p>- I&#8217;m not sure if this is right for me.</p>
<p>So I&#8217;ve got a question for you.</p>
<p>Do you really want this goal? Or are you happy to keep it as a fantasy: a pleasant image that you know you&#8217;ll never even reach for, much less reach?</p>
<p>If that&#8217;s so, all I am able to say is, &#8220;Happy dreaming and congratulations for all of the work you&#8217;ve just saved yourself.&#8221;</p>
<p>But if you really want this, if you are prepared to put in the time and funds and work to achieve it, then let&#8217;s take a second look at the list of reasons for not following it.</p>
<p>1. <i>There are so many details that I don&#8217;t know where to start.</i><br /> That is what goal setting and goal planning are for: to organize all these details so that you&#8217;ll know precisely where to begin and what to do until you&#8217;ve reached your goal.</p>
<p>2. <i>I&#8217;m afraid that I might fail.</i><br /> Yes, you could. There are no guarantees, but you have three choices:</p>

<p>There&#8217;s a way to find out.</p>
<p>Pretend you are standing in front of all the people who know about your goal and that you reject it. Imagine that you say, &#8220;I am no longer pursuing this goal. It is not for me.&#8221; How would these people respond? Some might be stunned, some may be unexcited, some may even support you. But is there one person who would be upset, or indignant, or unhappy? If that is the case, then that&#8217;s the person whose goal it is.</p>
<p>So if the goal is somebody else&#8217;s, do you now reject it? Is it time to grow your own goals and move on?</p>
<p>Perhaps, but there&#8217;s a catch.</p>
<p>The catch is that even though the goal started with somebody else, over time you may have come to adopt parts of it as your own. My piano-avoiding friend could have found out, somewhere along the way, that he liked playing some types of music but did not wish to admit it to his mother. If, over the passage of time you have come to see at least a part of the goal as yours, you now have to claim it as yours and not renounce it.</p>
<p>How might you decide whether you have adopted it as yours?</p>
<p>Suppose that that you&#8217;re  with the person whose goal it is and, even before you reject the goal, suppose that that person says to you, &#8220;I think you should move on from that goal. It isn&#8217;t for you.&#8221;</p>
<p>How would you react? Maybe you would be relieved. Maybe it wouldn&#8217;t matter to you. In cases like these, the goal has not become yours and you can move on.</p>
<p>But if your reaction is annoyance or upset, or if your reply is along the lines of, &#8220;Don&#8217;t tell me what to do with my life,&#8221; then you have come to see the goal as yours. Now is the time to embrace it, to separate from the person who gave it to you. Now is the time to announce, &#8220;<u>My</u> goal is &#8230; &#8220;.</p>

<p> Today I would like to share a tale told by Lisa Nichols, one of the participants of the film &#8220;The Secret&#8221; and that we not only share a great wisdom but gives us the key to control in that case. They asked to Lisa just that &#8230; How do to stay targeted when your familiar environment, your buddies or your coworkers think you are crazy, you&#39;ve gone loopy and do not understand a single word on the LOA or manifesting your desires?</p>
<p> And this is what she claimed &#8230;</p>

<p> &#8220;Many people come asking, how does one do when anyone around you, like your folks or your best mates, not just think you&#39;re mad about applying the LOA in your life but you would like to persuade you otherwise? Upon arriving home, I listen as everyone talks about, but nobody asked for my conference or anything like that, but my aunt stares and claims, &#8220;Brought the dessert?&#8221;</p>

<p> For them no more nor less than I&#39;m Lisa, a cousin more, which always takes care of the dessert on Sundays. <p>Apply the LOA would say to you how exercising your body, should be performed frequently. We need a little time but not much, so it&#39;s important look at your timetable and find 10 to 15 minutes in the day to give to you and your practice (I guarantee you it&#8217;s worth).</p>
